According to Blake, this border of coloured limestone, may have been one of only two, and therefore unique.
The band in the bead and reel design, which runs across the room at the right of the tablinum, dividing into antecamera and room, suggests Hellenistic influences.

According to Blake, this border of coloured limestone, may have been one of only two, and therefore unique.

The band in the bead and reel design, which runs across the room at the right of the tablinum, dividing into antecamera and room, suggests Hellenistic influences.
