The tomb originally had painted cherubs, birds and garlands on the front.
A plaque on the tomb had the inscription
CASTRICIA G(aiae) LIB(ertae)
PRISCAE VIXIT ANNIS
XXV HIC SITA EST.
SAP inventory number 21003.

Inside at the centre of the back wall was a columella with the inscription
CASTRICIA G(aiae) 
L(iberta) PRISCA
VIX(it) ANN(is) XXV H(ic) S(ita) E(st).
