The large white panel at the back is the Forma Urbis Pompeiorum.
This is a plan of Pompei cut onto a slab of travertine 5m wide by 2.73m high and was completed in 1947.

The Larario was inaugurated 13th June 1948 with the busts of Fiorelli, Ruggiero and Mau there.
Busts of Maiuri and Della Corte were added later.

The handwritten date would seem to be wrong.
In 1870 Le Lieure moved to Rome, following the Royal family and the
Parliament, so the photo should be after that date.
