VII.10.4 Pompeii. December 2005. Entrance doorway, looking north along Vicolo di Eumachia. The threshold of the shop was made of lavastone. In the middle, the hollow for inserting the wooden planks of closure can be seen.

VII.10.4 Pompeii. December 2005. Looking east across shop. On the left at the rear can be seen a block of travertine which was the base step for the wooden steps that would have led to the upper floor. The line of the stairs could be traced in the plaster on the north wall.
