According to Pernice –
this lava block was found in the atrium of VII.4.31, left from the vestibule.
A groove runs across it, in the middle of which is a hole for a mandrel/clamp, which has been cemented in modern times; no traces of lead have been preserved. No notches.
See Pernice, E., 1932. Hellenistische Tische, Zisternenmündungen, Beckenuntersätze, Altäre u. Truhen. Berlin, p. 74, Taf. 44.6.
