This would
have been seen on the north side of the central stucco of Hercules on the west
wall.

VII.1.8 Pompeii. December 2006. West wall and north-west corner of room E, the destrictarium, in south-west corner of gymnasium.
The destrictarium was a room for preparing before, and cleaning with strigil after, gymnastic exercise.
A painted hunt was seen on the west walls of both room G, and this room E.
As the walls are now totally faded and illegible, it is not possible to identify an exact location.

Provenanced to the Stabian Baths, but we do not know the exact find location.
On display in exhibition in Palaestra entitled –
“L’altra Pompei, vite comuni all’ombra del Vesuvio”.
