The walls of this room were decorated with a red zoccolo/dado/plinth.

The middle zone of the walls was painted white with panels edged with “carpet” borders, separated by violet strips which in their centre had painted golden candelabra, but very badly preserved.

According to PPM,
Although poorly preserved, the flooring of the tablinum in cocciopesto showed a border of meanders and alternative squares and with a central emblema decorated with a diamond of meanders and plant stems in white tesserae.
